January 4, 2022 – Acivilate is honored to be recognized as a leader by Government Technology magazine in 2022 for the fourth year running along with other companies serving government agencies and their residents. Our Pokket℠ software is designed for people helping people.

This honor recognizes Acivilate’s expansion into new markets and use cases including:

  • Coordination of services for homeless individuals
  • Coordination of police-mental health co-responder services and supports
  • Delivery and coordination of social work and resources for under-served children and their families
  • Collaboration between jails and public health departments

The pandemic has revealed just how much work the marginalized clients of justice and social services agencies have had to do to coordinate their care. When clients can’t carry paper from one agency to another, social workers have extra work to bridge the gaps, and sometimes clients simply give up. Pokket was designed to bridge not only the gaps within a county but also between government agencies and community partners, and avoid passing paper, even while maintaining conformance with privacy rules.

In 2021, in response to certain federal funding restrictions, Acivilate introduced a licensing model, as an alternative to our Software-as-a-Services model. The licensing model satisfies the need for agencies to own an asset. Acivilate still provides hosting, maintenance, and support services, to relieve the county or state of operational obligations, and the application can still be configured to launch in just days, with customization and integrations added as needed over time. When your most vulnerable residents can help themselves, life gets better for them, the caseworkers who support them, and the whole community.
