About the role

We are looking for a leader for our sales and marketing organization to capitalize on recent wins and continue our triple digit growth. This person will be able to sell, build a sales team, define our marketing and influence our pricing. This role will have base comp, commission and options, and be a C-level team member partnering with other executives to build a winning strategy.

You’ll build and lead a sales team to partner with agencies to implement our technology and change their operating practices and culture. You will be responsible for closing sales and delivering on sales targets, and training new salespeople. In this role you will:

  • Build relationships with prospects to understand their needs and express our fit
  • Identify, compete for, and close new business opportunities
  • Support the implementation team as we deliver for the customer
  • Direct our marketing efforts, including channel allocation and partners, and redefining storytelling and messaging for different segments
  • Creatively define the right packages for each customer to meet their unique needs
  • Influence the segments we choose to serve
  • Recruit, train, build and manage a sales and marketing team
  • Report progress and activities against defined metrics

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership experience selling into US Criminal Justice Agencies
  • Experience negotiating and closing enterprise software sales
  • Experience with RFPs and unsolicited proposals
  • Experience with Product / SaaS and professional services
